Weight

A poem.

The sun, again

I’m bored of it now

I’m bored of it

Heavy snakes

in my belly, fighting,

nipping

The bouncing, balancing

Check and recheck

alarm, scales

The announcement of a door

a foot on the mat, a breath

an appointment card.
